The Position
We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our growing Marketing department. This position will support the Home Storage product lines and work closely with the Director of Marketing.
You will be responsible for the development and management of existing product lines, with emphasis on pricing, data analysis, product database maintenance, collateral materials and sales support.
- 1. Manage product lines for one Business Unit (BU), Home Storage.
- a) Manage details and timelines of all Home Storage projects, including packaging, POP materials, pricing, promotions, collateral materials, website, PR, sales support and consumer research.
- b) Facilitate internal and external communications for all Home Storage projects including working with other company departments as well as outside agencies (marketing agencies, PR, industrial design, market research, etc).
- c) Maintain current data base on Home Storage products, key accounts, competitive activity and consumer research.
- d) Together with Marketing Director, manage new product development initiatives, including line extensions.
- 2. Manage creation and ongoing updating of Bills of Material (BOM) for Home Storage.
- a) Initiate and manage the BOM process for all Home Storage products.
- b) Ensure that all standard costs and BOM details are current and are reflected in pricing model analysis.
- 3. Create and update pricing for all Home Storage products to meet or exceed ebitda objectives.
- a) Provide account-specific pricing analysis as needed. Pricing must reflect all current standard costs and account co-op programs.
- b) Establish and monitor standard list prices, discounting structures, and special pricing. Recommend modifications as necessary.
- c) Monitor competitors’ prices
- d) Analyze market price sensitivity
- 4. Analyze and summarize POS data from key accounts for Home Storage.
- 5. Manage all trade show activities for Home storage.
- a) For shows where company is exhibiting, manage all details for the BU, including booth/sample preparations and in-person participation.
- b) Attend various related trade shows for research purposes as needed

- EDUCATION:
- a) B.A./B S. degree required; MBA a plus
- b) Strong MS Office skills
- EXPERIENCE:
- a) Two years consumer products marketing experience
- b) Product management experience
- c) Housewares, Office products, Storage product experience, a plus
- d) Mass market experience
